Description
The School-Based Learning (SBL) Teacher provides an educational program for residents of the Residential Treatment Center, supervising teachers, teaching assistants, classroom aides, and crisis intervention staff; supporting classroom instruction, behavior management, individualized education and vocational programming, lesson planning, IEP goals, staff development, scheduling, attendance, and student arrival and dismissal. The role requires NYS SBL certification, a master’s degree, and experience with the population, and is based on the Robert J. McMahon Children’s Center campus serving Maryland students ages 5–21.
