Description
The Assistant Printer supports the printer at printing presses by ensuring production follows the daily schedule, starting and adjusting production processes, monitoring quality and consistency, maintaining machine continuity, performing quality checks, and conducting first-line maintenance. The role also involves inspecting raw materials, developing versatility across departmental positions, and potentially progressing to printer when a vacancy arises. Applicants need graphic arts education, knowledge of the graphic printing process, the ability to learn new methods and machines quickly, and willingness to work a three-shift system; a forklift certificate is an asset. Benefits include a tailored salary, shift premiums, training, and flexible work arrangements.
