Description
The Assistant Printer supports the printer at printing presses by starting and adjusting production, monitoring printed-product quality, performing quality checks, and conducting first-line maintenance on presses while checking incoming paper, ink, rubber blankets, and printing plates. The role requires graphic arts education and an understanding of the graphic printing process, with experience being an advantage but not required, and requires willingness to work a three-shift system. The posting includes training opportunities, a fixed-term contract with possible permanent conversion, and benefits such as a bicycle allowance, meal vouchers, paid holidays, a year-end bonus, and a supplementary pension plan.
