Description
Jackson State University is hiring a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering. The role combines undergraduate and graduate teaching, externally funded research, student mentoring, collaborative research, professional service, accreditation participation, and curriculum development. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field by the time of appointment, demonstrate strong teaching, research, and service potential, and show the ability to establish and sustain an externally funded research program. Industrial experience and a Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one are preferred.
