Description
The Assistant Professor/Coordinator, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program combines undergraduate and graduate nursing instruction with leadership and administrative oversight of the DNP program. Responsibilities include teaching DNP-level courses, developing curriculum, evaluating students, maintaining clinical and classroom assignments, supporting student success, participating in program evaluation and accreditation, conducting research and grant activities, and coordinating program planning, scheduling, clinical tracking, recruitment, admissions, and orientation. The role requires a DNP or terminal nursing degree, a master’s degree in nursing, at least three years of college or university-level teaching experience, at least one year of registered nurse clinical experience, Mississippi registered nurse licensure, and current national clinical or nursing-education certification.
