Palomar College is hiring an Assistant Professor/Program Director for its Dental Technology Department. The role teaches dental assisting courses, serves as the department chair with 40% reassigned time, and leads program planning, curriculum development, accreditation, clinical education, faculty coordination, and program assessment. It is a full-time, 10-month tenure-track position with a starting salary of $77,011.42–$122,363.70 annually and benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, two years of related teaching experience, and instruction in educational theory and methodology; a California Registered Dental Assistant license and BLS/CPR certification are also required.
