Northern Illinois University College of Law is hiring two entry-level tenure-track Assistant Professors for its newly launched Part-Time J.D. Program at the Naperville campus. The positions begin August 16, 2027, with a blended teaching load of four courses per academic year, including first-year-equivalent and upper-division courses, occasional DeKalb teaching, legal scholarship, student advising, and service at both campuses. Candidates must have an ABA-accredited J.D. degree, teach in evening and weekend formats, and be willing to travel to DeKalb; the role requires physical presence at Naperville at least three days per week and is not remote. Starting salary is $95,000, with benefits.
