The Health Information Technology Faculty member will teach didactic courses and coordinate clinical education for the Associate of Applied Science Health Information Technology program, including planning, supervising, and evaluating student clinical experiences at affiliated healthcare facilities. The role also involves instruction in health information management and medical coding, supporting student success, traveling to clinical sites, serving on college committees, and contributing to program assessment, accreditation, and community activities. The position accepts courses in face-to-face, evening, weekend, dual-credit, blended, and online modalities and exercises no supervision. Applicants need an associate's degree in a relevant field and one year of Health Information Technology experience, with a higher degree potentially waiving the experience requirement.
