Description
Cal Poly is hiring two full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professors in Architectural Engineering for the 2027–2028 academic year, beginning with the Fall 2027 semester. The positions are on-site at the San Luis Obispo campus and involve teaching undergraduate and graduate structural analysis, mechanics, and design courses; conducting applied scholarship; advising students; and participating in university service. Candidates need a doctorate in structural engineering or a related field with scholarship evidence, or a master’s degree, structural engineering license, and significant professional engineering practice experience. The anticipated hiring range is $107,000–$115,000 per year, and Cal Poly does not commit to visa sponsorship.
