Old Dominion University is hiring an Assistant Professor of Public Health in Social Behavioral Sciences, Health Behavior, and Health Promotion for a 10-month, full-time, tenure-track appointment beginning January 2027 in Norfolk, Virginia. The role primarily teaches graduate-level courses in the Master of Public Health and Ph.D. in Health Services Research programs, while also conducting independent public health research, pursuing extramural funding, mentoring graduate students, and contributing to departmental, school, and university service. Applicants must have a terminal doctoral degree in a relevant discipline and demonstrated graduate teaching, research, and service capabilities; the position remains open until filled.
