Montana State University’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is hiring two tenure-track Assistant Professors: one in structural biology and one in quantum biochemistry. The positions involve establishing independent, externally funded research programs, teaching undergraduate and graduate students, mentoring, and participating in departmental and university service. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field by the start date and the potential to establish an internationally recognized research program; postdoctoral experience, multidisciplinary collaboration, and demonstrated teaching and research excellence are preferred.
