San José State University is hiring an Assistant Professor in Engineering Technology, Computer Network System Management, for a tenure-track, full-time faculty position in the Department of Aviation and Technology. The role is on-site in San José, with an anticipated August 2027 start date and an annual salary range of $100,000 to $120,000. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in software quality, mobile technology, edge computing, networks, cloud computing, and database management; developing course materials; grading; maintaining an active research lab; and conducting sponsored research and projects involving students.
