Description
Old Dominion University’s Department of Biological Sciences is seeking two tenure-track Assistant Professors of One Health to begin in Fall 2027. Candidates must have a doctorate in Biology or a related discipline and relevant postdoctoral or equivalent experience, along with a strong research record, potential to establish an externally funded research program, teaching excellence, and strong communication skills. The positions involve developing active research programs, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and contributing to departmental service, with BSL2 and ABSL2 laboratory space available. The positions are full-time in Norfolk, Virginia, and applications were reviewed beginning September 1, 2026, until filled.
