Description
BAE Systems is hiring an Assistant Project Engineering Manager in Portsmouth Broad Oak to support the delivery of Torpedo Development projects, including the Sting Ray Mod 2 programme. The role involves technical leadership, project delivery, team coordination, and oversight of scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, resources, and stakeholders. Reporting into the Programme Lead, the position provides engineering guidance and administrative supervision to engineers and supports the development of complex defence systems. The role requires project management, engineering, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills; CEng or equivalent is desirable. It is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3–4 days onsite, with a salary of up to £60,000, and the vacancy closed on 28 September 2026.
