The New York City Department of Environmental Protection’s Bureau of Engineering Design & Construction is hiring two Assistant Electrical Engineers to serve as Assistant Project Managers for the Wastewater Capital Program in Queens, New York. The role supports wastewater treatment, combined sewer overflow, and pumping station construction projects, including contract and design administration, field investigations, schedule and cost management, stakeholder communication, environmental health and safety, and risk mitigation. Candidates must have an electrical engineering degree and either one year of full-time satisfactory experience or a master’s degree in electrical engineering, with wastewater systems knowledge and engineering drawing skills preferred.
