Sargent Electric is hiring an Assistant Project Manager in its East Chicago, Indiana office to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of electrical construction projects, including large-scale commercial and industrial projects. The role assists with project costs, budgets, productivity, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, contract administration, compliance, estimating, proposals, bidding, and project-site activities. Candidates need at least two years of construction-related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. The position may require occasional travel or relocation based on project needs.
