Description
The Assistant Project Manager, Customer Choice, supports Customer Choice Project Managers in overseeing transmission line and substation capital construction projects in Georgia. The role assists with project planning, documentation, scheduling, budgets, progress tracking, equipment readiness, change management, stakeholder coordination, risk management, meetings, and post-project reviews, and may independently manage smaller customer choice or relocation projects. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field is preferred, along with 1–3 years of project management experience and electric utility industry experience; PE certification and/or PMP are advantageous. The position requires strong organizational, communication, analytical, budgeting, and project management software skills, along with safety, collaboration, and attention-to-detail attributes.
