The Port of Dover is hiring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for its Procurement and PMO Department to support project managers and senior commercial staff across construction and infrastructure projects. The role covers tender documentation, bills of quantities, cost estimates, measurement and valuation, procurement evaluation, variation and claims assessment, budget monitoring, cost reporting, payment assessments, final accounts, contract administration, site visits, and cost-saving initiatives. Candidates need a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline, relevant commercial experience, strong analytical and organisational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a full UK driving licence. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, £34,000 salary, and benefits including private health care, pension, annual leave, and a discretionary bonus.
