The Assistant Rail Operations Analyst supports Capitol Corridor’s operating department by analyzing data, preparing statistical reports, assisting with scheduling and service planning, recommending improvements to stations, railcars, and operations, and administering the Tap2Ride program. The role also involves project tracking, stakeholder meetings, audits, research, policy and procedural changes, and customer feedback. A bachelor’s degree is required, with professional experience potentially substituting for education on a year-for-year basis. The position pays $39.63 to $51.80 per hour, with external candidates starting at Step 1, and offers Saturday and Sunday days off.
