Description
HDR is hiring an Assistant Resident Engineer to support the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority on rail, bus, highway, joint development, and transit facility construction contracts. The role performs field and office engineering work, including contract administration, construction inspections, progress monitoring, change orders, quantity tracking, schedule reviews, risk mitigation, documentation, and coordination with contractors, agencies, and LACMTA staff. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a closely related field, an Engineer in Training certificate, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication skills; transit experience is desirable, while Los Angeles and CONAD experience are highly preferred.
