Description
Zephyr Rail is hiring an Assistant Resident Engineer to support the administration of construction contracts on complex rail and transit projects. The role combines field inspection, contractor compliance monitoring, contract administration, change-order preparation, quantity tracking, progress-pay estimates, schedule and risk review, and project documentation. It requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, Engineer-in-Training registration, approximately five years of construction or construction-management experience, and a California Class C driver’s license. The position offers a salary range of $140,000 to $165,000 and includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
