Description
The Road Maintenance Supervisor assists the District Road Supervisor in supervising, instructing, inspecting, and evaluating road crews performing patching, resurfacing, road maintenance, culvert and small-bridge construction, and right-of-way clearing. The role also operates heavy equipment, inspects county roads, maintains records, conducts supply inventories, responds to public complaints, and enforces safety practices. It requires five years of increasingly responsible road construction and maintenance experience, including one year comparable to a Road Maintenance Worker III in Merced County, and a valid California Class A Driver's License.
