Description
The role assists the Roadmaster in managing and scheduling railroad crews, maintaining FRA track standards, and overseeing track maintenance, test cars, rail grinding, contractor projects, crossings, shut-downs, and accident investigations. It requires at least five years of track-related experience, knowledge of railroad operations and FRA requirements, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The position involves 50%–100% travel and physical work including lifting up to 80 pounds, climbing, and working in confined areas.
