Description
The Assistant Safety Manager oversees the company Health and Safety Program and contractual safety requirements at the project level. Responsibilities include directing safety and training, conducting inspections and program evaluations, documenting hazards and corrective actions, coordinating with project teams and external agencies, supporting incident and injury investigations, maintaining safety records, and auditing pre-task safety analyses. The role is primarily performed in a standard office environment with extensive public contact and requires a valid driver's license; a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of construction industry experience are preferred.
