Description
CoreCivic is hiring an Assistant Shift Supervisor to support administrative and operational security activities in a correctional or detention facility. The role directly supervises security staff, evaluates subordinate performance, guides staff on safety and security practices, enforces rules and policies, conducts security inspections, and may serve as acting Shift Supervisor. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, three years of criminal justice experience, one year of corrections experience involving inmate or offender care and custody, a valid driver's license, and at least 21 years of age; supervisory experience and Microsoft Office experience are preferred.
