Description
The Assistant Snowmaking Supervisor supports the Grooming/Snowmaking Supervisor in managing the Snowmaking department, including staff supervision, training, scheduling, compliance, equipment maintenance, records, budgets, payroll, and coordination with other mountain operations teams. The role is full-time and seasonal, operating from October through mid-February on a 7-of-14-day rotation with 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. It requires prior supervisory and risk-management experience in the ski industry, snowmaking experience, mechanical aptitude, Alberta Intermediate First Aid certification, and a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license.
