Description
The Assistant Store Manager will run a bakery in Ghent, ensure revenue and planning targets are met, coach employees and students, organize tasks and schedules, maintain a positive atmosphere, resolve internal issues, and communicate with the regional manager when the manager is absent. The role requires secondary education, preferably assistant experience, fluent Dutch, commercial and organizational skills, and flexibility for morning and afternoon shifts and weekends. It is a full-time 38-hour-per-week position with alternating Saturday or Sunday work, a permanent contract after a successful interim period, and benefits including a market-rate salary, meal vouchers, and a weekend premium.
