PPG is hiring a full-time permanent Assistant Store Manager in Townsville to support the Store Manager and lead a busy trade centre serving trade and retail customers. The role combines retail showroom and warehouse operations, including team coaching, customer service, sales support, paint tinting and colour matching, order fulfilment, inventory management, merchandising, and store safety. Candidates should ideally have retail, trade, hardware, warehouse, or customer-service experience, leadership or supervisory experience, strong communication skills, a current driver's licence, and the ability to safely lift products up to 32kg. The position offers training, career development, performance incentives, employee discounts, and work hours Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 4:30pm and Saturday from 7:00am to 11:30am.
