Description
The Assistant Store Manager leads and supervises store operations in the Store Manager’s absence, ensuring company standards across staffing, scheduling, payroll, customer service, merchandising, expense control, safety, loss prevention, inventory, and compliance. The role recruits, trains, and coaches non-exempt retail associates; manages store presentation and merchandise flow; monitors budgets and payroll; safeguards cash and confidential information; and directly supervises all non-exempt associates. It requires at least two years of store or assistant store manager experience in retail, strong communication and leadership skills, English fluency, basic retail math, schedule flexibility, and the ability to perform extensive standing, walking, lifting, and other store-related physical tasks.
