TJ Maxx, part of TJX Companies, is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for its Carle Place, New York store. The role supports sales and expense performance, oversees merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, scheduling, shipping and receiving, and loss-prevention activities. It also recruits, trains, mentors, and develops Associates; implements company initiatives and action plans; and improves store layout and operational efficiency. Applicants need at least two years of retail leadership experience, strong team leadership, organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in retail operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.
