Description
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in operating a Goodwill donated-goods store in Jacksonville, Florida. The role oversees donated-goods processing, staff training and scheduling, sales and donation reporting, cash handling, inventory, customer and donor service, store appearance, safety, and profitability. It also includes opening and closing the store, making deposits, and handling administrative and facilities issues. The position requires retail management experience, strong communication and customer-service skills, POS and basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours and perform physically demanding store work.
