ALTEN UK is hiring a Structural Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team working on complex building and structural design projects in the nuclear sector. The role involves detailed structural design, engineering calculations, technical documentation review, reinforced concrete checks, Eurocode and British Standards design, and structural integrity assessments for safety-critical infrastructure. Candidates need structural, civil, or mechanical analysis experience, UK structural design experience, reinforced concrete knowledge, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent military experience; nuclear or defence programme experience is advantageous.
