Description

The Assistant Substation Engineer supports licensed professional engineers and project teams in designing and delivering new and modified high-voltage electrical power substations ranging from 13kV to 765kV. The role contributes to substation layouts, protective relaying and controls, grounding and lightning studies, electrical calculations, specifications, estimates, field inspections, client materials, issue resolution, scheduling, and QA/QC while applying industry standards. It requires an ABET-accredited engineering bachelor's degree or related engineering technology degree with FE exam completion, strong communication and organizational abilities, computer proficiency, and permanent work authorization.
