Hood Container is hiring an Assistant Paper Machine Superintendent in St. Francisville, Louisiana, to support the safety, reliability, and performance of paper machine operations. The role coordinates maintenance and production activities, manages maintenance schedules and outage plans, leads safety and lockout/tagout processes, troubleshoots equipment issues, supports root-cause investigations, and manages critical materials and supplies. A high school diploma or GED, industrial manufacturing experience, safety and reliability knowledge, computer skills, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities are required; supervisory experience, kraft linerboard machine experience, mechanical maintenance experience, outage coordination experience, and paper machine knowledge are preferred.
