Description
The Assistant Superintendent assists the Superintendent in coordinating subcontractors and supervising laborers and trade workers at a construction site. The role monitors work performance, progress, productivity, costs, and compliance with contract documents, company standards, and owner expectations. Responsibilities include project financial responsibilities, preconstruction services, project start-up and scheduling, project administration, operations, close-out, customer relations, and employee development. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of field interior or commercial construction experience, one year of direct supervisory experience, computer and Microsoft proficiency, and the ability to read plans and specifications. The stated compensation is $100,000 to $120,000.
