Description
The University of Wyoming is hiring an Assistant Supervisor, Demand Response to support the Transit Supervisor and help lead SafeRide, Transit Dispatch, and Paratransit operations in Laramie, Wyoming. The part-time, on-campus role works primarily late-afternoon and night shifts Thursday through Monday, totaling approximately 15–19 hours weekly, and includes supervising and coordinating operations, assigning vehicle and equipment resources, enforcing transit and safety regulations, documenting personnel performance and compliance, training drivers and dispatchers, investigating incidents and complaints, dispatching and driving as needed, maintaining transit data, and providing customer service and community outreach. Candidates need a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED plus one year of related work experience or equivalent, one year of customer service experience, age 21 by hire, required screenings, and current or obtainable TSI, First Aid/CPR, and supervisor harassment-training certifications.
