Description
The Child Development Institute is hiring an Assistant Supervisor to support the Director and oversee operations of its Early Learning Centre serving children up to age 4. The role includes staff recruitment and training, co-op supervision, short-term coverage, policy and compliance implementation, AQI quality audits, regulatory compliance, change management, program planning, and building and supply operations. It is initially based onsite at the Wellesley centre, with an alternating weekly schedule across Wellesley and Crosstown, and will evolve into a split-site position as Parkdale becomes operational. The position requires a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, College of Early Childhood Educators membership, AQI experience, and a current Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification, with compensation of $60,000 to $63,000 per year on a 35-hour work week.
