Description
The Assistant Supervisor, Manufacturing supports production operations by leading a team toward safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets while performing hands-on production work as needed. The role manages staffing, output, on-time delivery, labor utilization, overtime, scrap, and rework; resolves production and personnel issues; collaborates with engineering, quality, supply chain, program management, and maintenance; and provides coaching and performance feedback to production employees. Candidates need a post-secondary diploma or degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus 2–3 years of manufacturing experience with prior leadership or supervisory responsibility.
