HELP USA is hiring an Assistant Supervisor/Mechanic for its women's shelter at 23 W. 106th Street, New York, New York. The role supervises maintenance staff, coordinates repairs, identifies physical-plant deficiencies, trains porters, handles electrical, boiler, plumbing, and HVAC work, maintains OSHA compliance, and manages materials inventory. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, supervisory experience in building trades or maintenance, tool and equipment proficiency, blueprint-reading ability, a valid US driver's license, and preferably HVAC certification or a license.
