HELP USA is hiring an Assistant Supervisor/Mechanic for its Wards Island SEC facility in Manhattan, New York. The role supervises maintenance staff, coordinates repairs, identifies physical-plant deficiencies, trains porters, handles materials inventory, and performs repairs while maintaining OSHA compliance. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, supervisory experience in building trades or maintenance, tool and equipment knowledge, electrical, boiler, plumbing, and HVAC experience, blueprint-reading ability, problem-solving skills, and a valid U.S. driver’s license; HVAC certification or license is preferred.
