Description
The Assistant Teacher supports the lead teacher in creating responsive, age-appropriate early childhood experiences and helps facilitate children’s activities, maintain classroom safety and materials, document portfolios and assessments, and implement individualized education or family service plans. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an age-appropriate Child Development Associates (CDA) credential, experience working with children, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to plan, prioritize, and multitask; an associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and two years of experience are preferred. Additional compensation may apply for candidates with a CDA.
