Description
The Stepping Stones is hiring a full-time Assistant Teacher to float between its childcare sites and support classrooms serving young children, especially infants and toddlers. The role involves classroom supervision and management, personal care and hygiene, positive discipline, implementing lesson plans, preparing learning materials, assessing developmental needs, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom, attending staff activities, and working early morning or closing shifts. Candidates must meet state requirements, have at least one year of childcare or assistant teaching experience with children under age five, demonstrate strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, organization, multitasking, dependability, and professionalism, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
