The Assistant Teacher assists classroom teachers by supervising children during activities, supporting curriculum implementation, counseling students, maintaining a safe and clean classroom, helping with mealtimes and cleanup, completing academy paperwork, and participating in staff and parent meetings. The role requires flexibility to cover the center’s needs, adaptability across classrooms, a friendly and professional demeanor, mediation skills, child CPR certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds, sit on the floor, and interact with children.
