Description
The Assistant Teacher supports a Head Start classroom by developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, managing children’s behavior and development, assessing progress, engaging families, maintaining records, and collaborating with teachers and colleagues. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field, at least two years of early childhood education experience, and the ability to work with diverse populations and low-income families.
