Easterseals DC MD VA is hiring a full-time Assistant Teacher for its Head Start department at Allentown Road, Camp Springs, Maryland. The role supports the lead teacher with daily classroom operations and provides a safe, nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Responsibilities include implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Creative Curriculum and national and state standards. The position requires a child development or early childhood education credential, at least one year of professional teaching experience, bilingual Spanish-English proficiency preferred, CPR and First Aid certification, and the ability to lift children weighing 10–40 pounds.
