Description
The Assistant Teacher supports Lead Teachers in the full-day Children's Circle Pre-School program under the Early Childhood Classroom Coordinator. This hourly part-time role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with possible evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom upkeep, child supervision, safety, hygiene, meals, records, medication administration, and attendance. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalency, age 19 or older, IDEC licensing knowledge, and developmentally appropriate practices; early childhood college credits and IDEC-program experience are preferred. Compensation starts at $18.31 per hour and ranges up to $26.00 per hour, with pension, paid leave, holidays, apparel, and membership benefits.
