Description
The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in planning and facilitating daily activities for children aged 2 to 5 in Rainbows’ Academy, observes and records each child’s strengths and needs, contributes to classroom planning, and communicates with teachers, parents, and staff. The role is full-time, classroom-based, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CDA or college hours in child development preferred, one year of experience with special needs or 2- to 5-year-old children preferred, and valid CPR and First Aid certification. The schedule is Monday through Friday with an opening shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or a closing shift from 9:15 AM to 5:45 PM, and pays $15.25 per hour and up based on experience.
