The Assistant Teacher supports the Head Teacher in supervising preschool students, assisting with classroom instruction, curriculum implementation, attendance, meals, safety drills, documentation, and emergency procedures. The role requires knowledge of early childhood education and Connecticut standards, a warm and nurturing personality, and the ability to work with children, including those with communicable diseases and disabilities.
