Description
The Assistant Teacher supports a lead teacher in a structured classroom by helping implement the daily schedule and routine, leading activities, supervising students, maintaining student safety, building consistent relationships, and assisting with administrative and operational duties. The role may also cover staff lunch breaks and temporarily lead the classroom when the lead teacher is absent. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of prior experience, appropriate early-childhood training, and the listed clearances and online training; New York State CDA certification is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available.
