Save the Children is hiring a full-time Assistant Teacher to support a Head Start classroom by assisting with preschool children’s social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development; planning and leading activities; maintaining classroom management; supervising children; supporting families; documenting observations and assessments; and participating in staff development. The role requires a CDA or equivalent credential, English proficiency, knowledge of Head Start programs, collaboration with families and staff, Microsoft Office skills, and pediatric CPR and first-aid training.
